The Houston Texans are 2-4 in the 2026 season. Outside the playoff picture, 13th in the AFC. They have won no Super Bowl, and have never played in one. Their last playoff appearance was the 2025 season and their last playoff win came in the 2025 season.

The Texans are the youngest franchise in the league and the only one yet to reach a conference championship game, but under C.J. Stroud they have become a January regular. Houston has won the AFC South and a Wild Card game in each of the last three seasons, 2023 to 2025, beating Cleveland, the Chargers and Pittsburgh in the first round.

The 30-6 win in Pittsburgh in January 2026 was the first road playoff win in franchise history. It was followed by a 28-16 Divisional Round loss in New England, the Texans' third straight exit in the second round after losses at Baltimore and Kansas City. Seven playoff wins in nine appearances, every one of them in the Wild Card Round, and a Divisional Round wall that still needs breaking.
