NFL Playoff Predictor 2027: Bracket Simulator and Picks

Last updated

Pick the winner of every 2027 NFL playoff game, from Wild Card Weekend to Super Bowl LXI, and the bracket fills itself in. Tap a team to advance it; later rounds follow the NFL’s reseeding rule automatically, real results lock in as they happen, and one link shares your whole bracket.

The field is not set yet, so the seeds below are projected from current standings. Tap a team to pick each winner; the bracket updates after Week 18.

How does the NFL playoff predictor work?

Tap a team in any Wild Card game to send it through. The Divisional Round redraws instantly: the No. 1 seed always gets the lowest remaining seed and the other two winners meet, exactly as the NFL reseeds. Until you have picked every Wild Card game, the later rounds assume the higher seed wins and show as provisional. Pick a champion and the Super Bowl card appears.

Your picks are saved in your browser and in the page link, so you can come back later or send the link to friends. Once a real game is played, its result is locked and your pick for that game is replaced by what actually happened.

When should you fill out your bracket?

The field is set on the evening of Sunday, January 10, 2027, after Week 18. Until then the predictor uses the seeds from the current standings, which is a good way to test scenarios. Most pools lock before the first Wild Card kickoff on Saturday, January 16.

Tips for picking an NFL playoff bracket

  • The No. 1 seed reaches the Super Bowl far more often than any other seed, mostly because of the bye and home field.
  • Road teams still win about a third of Wild Card games; one or two upsets in the first round is normal, four is not.
  • A No. 7 seed has won a playoff game only once since the format began in 2020.
  • Since the 2020 expansion the champion has come from the No. 5 seed (2020 Buccaneers), No. 4 (2021 Rams), No. 1 (2022 Chiefs, 2025 Seahawks), No. 3 (2023 Chiefs) and No. 2 (2024 Eagles). No seed is safe to rule out.

Can I save my bracket?

Yes. Picks are stored in your browser automatically and also encoded in the page link. Use Copy share link to keep or send it.

Why did my Divisional Round picks disappear?

You changed a Wild Card pick, which changes who plays in the Divisional Round. Picks for matchups that no longer exist are cleared so the bracket stays valid.

Does the predictor use real results?

Yes. Once a playoff game is final it is locked with the real winner, and the rest of your bracket adjusts around it.

Is this an official NFL bracket challenge?

No. It is a free tool on an independent fan site with no prizes, entry fees or betting. It is for fun and for settling arguments.
